What affiliate programs should i join?
In my previous guide, i stated one of the way to make money is to join affiliate program. Pertaining to that,now i will list a few affiliate programs that maybe good to join and what not to join. Before that,i’ve been really busy lately and dont have time to update this blog.This is because i’m going to resign on my job within 2 weeks so i have many works to be done at office (i’m a System Analyst in EPSON). Ok shall we continue??Type affiliate program at Google and click search.That’s it….too many search results including the sponsored links at the right. Which one should i join??
To lighten your headache, i suggest you to join affiliate program that hosted at central affiliate site. I mean a site that a lot of company register to seek affiliate to promote their products. 3 prominent sites that i know is LinkShare,Commission Junction and Clickbank. Lets go one by one.
1) LinkShare
Linkshare offers great merchants for you to choose. Just signup and choose any merchant that you like. From WalMart,Dell, Apple Computer, Toshiba and many major merchants we can choose from at LinkShare. One suggestion from me, please choose the merchant that the business field is not far from your blog topic. If your blog is about tech stuffs you may choose merchant like Dell or Toshiba. From my experience, i like to choose many ads and links from many merchants with intention to give visitors variety of products but i was wrong. Knowing your target links which is in the same topic of your site is the best thing to do.
2)Commission Junction
Commission Junction has the same function like LinkShare. It is an affiliate central for many major brands such as Skype,Ebay,Sony,Thomas Cook,Expedia…etc. In CJ, you must application for certain merchants may pending for certain period and may approve instantly.I dont know why but maybe the merchant would like to review your site first before being approved. CJ also provide complete information about the rates of commission you may get from the particular link type.
3)ClickBank
Clickbank interface may not like LinkShare and CJ which for me is more beautiful but Clickbank is one of the best affiliate program available around. You may find many products to sell or solutions to give to your visitors. The most products i’ve seen recommended by webmasters is What Google Never Told You About Making Money with Adsense.
If you notice, many ClickBank products are E-Books or softwares. Be careful in choosing them. Sometimes we may take a general view of the e-books or the best is we have read it first before we suggest to others to buy it. I cannot recommend what to sell as Clickbank has one disadvantages that disallow me to do that. Clickbank only offers the membership to 100 ++ country and if your country is not in the list so you cannot join it. You may check it in the future to see if your country has been added or not.
Besides 3 of the above program, i will suggest more. Its worth trying to know what is the best program to join. Continue to read.
4)PayDotCom
PayDotCom is free to join and also has wide vaiety of products and services to choose from. PayDotCom is much more easier to join because it doesn’t need pre approval needed for your sales page. Your application will be approved instantly and you can create your product line on the fly.
5)Ebay
Did you know that you can become an EBay affiliate? Well you can, and when someone registers to join Ebay or someone buys something from Ebay you will get a portion of the sale proceeds.This world largest auction site has high commission rate and you may think to try give a shot. But remember one thing, Ebay needs you to be a commission junction member first before you apply. Thats where your luck is depends at. Sometimes your application is decline but you really interested to promote the merchant products. What can i say, try again in the future.
6)Amazon Associates.

Remember, besides you use the default Amazon’s banners and links in Amazon Associates control panel, you may consider to hire or pay someone to setup your own Amazon store using Amazon ECS technology. Its like having another Amazon site owned by you. Maybe you may think to hire me??:)
